FAQ

Launch questions

What time does GTA 6 come out?
On PlayStation, GTA 6 unlocks at midnight local time in most store regions on 19 November 2026, starting in New Zealand (11:00 UTC on 18 November). US accounts unlock at 00:00 Eastern, which is 21:00 on 18 November on the West Coast. These come from PlayStation Store listings; Rockstar has not confirmed them.
Does my console's time zone matter?
On PlayStation, the unlock follows the store region of your account, not where you live. Pick your account's store country above to see your time.
What about Xbox?
Xbox unlock times have not been published yet. We will add them here as soon as they appear.
Can I play GTA 6 early?
No. There is no early access or beta. You can preload from 12 November so the game is ready the second it unlocks. Offers of "early access" are scams.
How big is the download?
The official size is not out yet. Most estimates say 150-250 GB. Use the checker above, and get an alert when the real size is posted.
