Get rich
in Leonida.
On launch day, players report real payouts and we rank every method by money per hour. Here's what's confirmed so far.
How money works
Cash matters
You need money to move the story forward, and missions alone don't pay enough. You earn in the open world.
Rob almost anything
Almost any business in Leonida can be robbed.
Bank it or lose it
Cash you carry can be lost if you're Wasted or Busted. Put it in an ATM: Jason and Lucia share one account.
Marked bills
Bank jobs can pay in marked bills that must go through a fence before you can spend them.
Sell stolen cars
A specialist fence paid about $21,000 and $10,000 for wanted cars in one preview. Damage lowers the price.
Garages for sale
You can buy garages around the map. You start with room for 3 personal vehicles.
More ways to earn
Previews showed monster truck racing, diving for treasure and pool games paying out.
No microtransactions at launch
Rockstar says the game has no microtransactions at launch.
Money methods, ranked
Live from launch day: $ per hour, risk and wanted level for each method, from real player reports.
Report a payout
Did a job? Tell us what you did, what it paid and how long it took. Reports open the moment GTA 6 is out, so every number comes from real play.
