Fortnite X TMNT EVENT
On the 9th of February, Fortnite is getting a new event in collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which will come with a mini battle pass, new in-game location, new cosmetics and a new Shredder skin for the event.
For the release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game the company is making a lot of collabs with other games like Call of Duty as a marketing strategy and Fortnite has been no different. After the last Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collab which was one of the biggest collabs in Fortnite, got lots of positive feedback from the community and the players, everyone is now very excited to see another collab which is expected to bring more fan’s favorite characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. Because of the large number of people who grew up watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons and reading the comic books and even the fans of the movies, such collabs are sure to generate a lot of hype surrounding it which is also evident in the upcoming Fortnite x TMNT collab. Even though the event is not out yet people are already searching the internet to get an early peek at the event and what it has to offer. Although most of it is just speculation, in this article you will get an overview of what to expect from this event.
A new Shredder skin
From the pieces of information collected by the data minors and leakers, this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collab will bring us a new skin of the infamous villain Shredder.
In the last collaboration between Fortnite and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we got a total of 5 skins from the hero’s side, the reporter April O’Neil, and of course the four turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Rafael and lastly Michelangelo. So naturally after that event, people were hoping to get more of their favorite characters like the mutant rat sensei Splinter and Casey Jones and also the infamous villains in the game. So when the leakers and data miners spread the information of Shredder coming to Fortnite in the upcoming event, it quickly gained a lot of attention, and because of that everyone is now very eager to see the Shredder skin in the game.
In-game location
For the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event we are also getting a new location in the game, possibly the turtle lair which is the hideout and base of operations for the teenage mutant ninja turtles. Unfortunately, data miners do not have any more information regarding the in-game location that will be added to the game for the upcoming Fortnite x TMNT event so we have to wait and see how it looks in the game.
TMNT weapons and augments
TMNT-themed weapons and augments is something that was expected to be added in the last TMNT x Fortnite collab, but unfortunately it was not released along with the last event so it is expected to be pushed back and released with this upcoming TMNT event.
Special quests and mini battle pass:
The upcoming TMNT event is expected to have a mini battle pass and special quests you can complete by playing the game for additional rewards and hopefully some free skins and cosmetics.
