Nightingale is a first-person, Player vs. Environment, open-world, first-person survival crafting game that can be played alone or with companions in cooperative mode. Build, craft, fight, and explore as you travel through mystical portals to a variety of amazing and fantastical worlds.

Nightingale is set to be released for the PC on February 22, 2024.

THE MAIN FEATURES OF NIGHTINGALE INCLUDE:

1. SURVIVE THE REALMS

As you open the portals going farther into the Fae realm, get ready to travel through Faewild forests, terrifying swamps, shining deserts, and dark jungles. Prepare meals, construct shelter, and gather the strength to endure adversity.

2. GATHER AND CRAFT

Craft tools to gather materials from deep inside the realms, such as plants, trees, and ore.

Learn new schematics and put together the tools and weapons you will need to survive.

With the use of specific ingredients and arcane technologies, you can give your gear magical properties.

3. BUILD AND MANAGE

Create a magnificent estate using a range of architectural designs and tilesets; enhance and personalize your buildings; establish safe off-grid settlements; and hire NPC laborers to help grow your homestead, automate tasks, and gather resources.

4. EXPLORE AND DISCOVER

Discover vast realms with breathtaking visuals that will take you to a mysterious gaslamp fantasy world. Investigate mysterious Fae architecture, discover abandoned ruins, and find the abandoned remnants of previous Realmwalker expeditions. Each new portal will present you with a mix of beauty and dangers.

5. COOPERATIVE OR SOLO

You can play cooperatively or solo in an online shared world where you can pool your resources, talents, and abilities to survive and grow as a group. You can also build estates together, collaborate to solve mysteries about the realms, and face the challenges of the Fae as a unit.

6. DEADLY ENCOUNTERS

In first-person combat, craft and wield a variety of melee and firearm weapons. Face terrifying creatures that lurk in the portal network. Resist incursions by the twisted Fae mimics of humanity known only as the Bound. Fight alongside other players against massive apex creatures in the realms’ deepest corners.

Gameplay:

Nightingale is an open-world survival game with only Player vs. Environment elements. Players will build, craft, and fight for survival in some perilous new places as they traverse some dangerous new locations.

The game will be single-player or co-op, with Inflexion Games touting Nightingale as an “endless adventure,” so you might want to free up some time if you plan to drop in at launch.

There will be no other way to navigate realms except by using the exclusive Realm Cards system, which requires players to craft and create their own cards. Once you have them, you can go to a portal and utilize your collection of cards to affect the procedurally generated realm instead of making it completely random.

Plot:

In Nightingale, players assume the role of Realmwalkers, able to travel between the Fae Realms with the help of Realm Cards. The gameplay trailer for the game shows how players will use these cards to travel between the Realms. Nightingale takes place in the Victorian era, specifically in 1889, and follows you as you explore dangerous new worlds inhabited by Eldritch and dangerous creatures.
